Clarity refers to the presence of inclusions and blemishes. There are eleven clarity grades ranging from flawless (FL) to included (I3).

Clarity characteristics serve as the fingerprint of a diamond, meaning that no two inclusions aree exactly alike. Most of these imperfections are microscopic and don't even affect a diamond's appearance and beauty in any noticeable way.
